Lawrence "Larry" J. McKnight passed away on March 10, 2022 at the age of 70. Loving husband of Elaine (Drozd). Devoted son of the late Lawrence and Ruth McKnight. Devoted father of Lawrence III (Jaclyn), Jeffrey (Jill). Dear Pop Pop of Madison, Lawrence IV, Keegan, Quinn, Finley and Samantha. Brother of Nancy McKnight, Judith Arentzen (Jim), Ruthanne Chelius (Kyle).

Larry was a graduate of North Catholic High School class of 1969. He served the City of Philadelphia as a Police Officer for 36 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday Evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and also Wednesday 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 1428 E. Columbia Avenue Philadelphia PA 19125, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Laurentius School 1612 E. Berks St. 19125 in his memory would be appreciated.
