Lawrence J. "Larry" Funk, Sr., passed away August 22, 2024. Beloved husband to the late Kathy (Voltz). Loving father to Larry, Jr., Karen Edwardson (Reade) and the late Sharon Camp (Chuck). Cherished Poppy to Michael, Nicole, Christopher (Shenelle), Shannon (Rob), Shawn (Ashley), Charlie (Sami), Chandler, Chase (Christian), Shane and Kara. Dear Great Poppy to Daisy. Brother to Terry Funk (Terri) and the late Jack Funk and Joan Chism. Larry was also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Monday morning from 9:30AM-10:30AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's Church (8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19136) at 11:00AM. Interment St. Dominic's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Larry's name to the SPCA of Philadelphia, for his immense love of dogs.
