Lawrence J. Steffen "Larry" passed away January 18, 2024.  Best friend of Carol Lynn (nee Neuberger) for 56 years and beloved husband for 53.  Devoted father of Lauren Steffen Zecchinel and her husband Anthony Steffen Zecchinel, and Matthew Steffen.  Brother of Joseph R. Steffen, Larry is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

An avid golfer, Larry also enjoyed bicycling, serving his church, and crafting his garden. Larry was a very inventive speller when challenging his daughter at Scrabble and a sharp shooter in billards against his brother-in-law, George. No sweet was ever safe from his reach, nor crumb from his Dust Buster. While he never did manage to banish the "D#!* birds" from the awning, Larry adored animals, though none more than his little Jingle Jangle.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, January 27, 2024, 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Martha Church, 11301 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA, 19154 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM.  Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Martha Church in Lawrence's memory would be appreciated.
