Leonard A. Piccinini, age 79, passed away on December 3, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia.Devoted father to Patti Ann Rasiul (William Mulhern) and Michele Thompson (Joseph), and a loving Pop Pop to his grandchildren: Carl Jr., Kelly Ann, Erin, Michelle, and Lauren.  Dear brother of Angelo Piccinini (the late Karen) and the late Leo Piccinini. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Leonard proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War, a time in which he demonstrated his unwavering commitment to service. A true history enthusiast, he enjoyed reading and exploring the past, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including playing the lottery.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by a service at 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The funeral procession will form and depart Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM from Burns Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Lung Association, 625 N. Governor Printz Blvd #2, Essington, PA 19029 in Leonard's memory would  be appreciated.
