Linda McCarrie (nee Kucowski) formerly of Philadelphia, PA and recently of Pedricktown, NJ is now a dead person, as she is no more, she is deceased, and has wrung down the curtain and gone to meet her maker. She drifted off this mortal coil on November 10th at 1:25am. Her spirit was released from her worn out shell of a body and is now flying around exploring the universe.

There will be no viewing since she doubts that her family would honor her request to have her standing in the corner of the room with a bottle of Tequila and/or Jack Daniels in her hand so that she would appear natural to visitors. Instead a cremation and memorial will take place and her ashes will be buried at her farm in Pedricktown and as well as Tyler State Park in Pennsylvania.

I was raised in the era that girls/women were to be secretaries, nurses (never a doctor be it for humans or animals) and the like. So, I did what most women of my time did - - - I have had the pleasure (most times) of being a mother to Bruce, Matthew and Mark; and the great joy of being grandmother to Taylor, Erin, Bridget and Kendall and the privilege of being an Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews (way too many to name).

Everyone who remembers me is asked to celebrate my life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in my memory would be quite appropriate. Instead of flowers, I would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul in my name.

Linda is the beloved mother of Bruce R. Fry, Jr. (Erikka), Matthew P. McCarrie (Shannon), and Mark J. McCarrie. Loving grandmom of Taylor, Erin, Bridgette, and Kendall. Dear sister of Theresa Kucowski, Sharon Nugent (John), Deborah O'Neill (Joseph), Terry Flynn (James), Edward Kucowski, and the late Theodore Kucowski. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday November 18, 2017 8:30 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E. Columbia Ave. Phila., PA 19125 followed by her Service 11:00 AM. Interment private.
