Obituary

Lisa Mullen, 51, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly, with her family by her side on Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Ken Clark and Carol Benatti, wife of Jim Benatti.

Lisa spent the first part of her life in the Philadelphia area. She was active in numerous school activities and was named captain of her cheerleading team. After attending college, she entered the insurance industry which moved her to San Francisco for a few years, then back to the east coast where she eventually settled in Plymouth, Ma. Lisa was a true team player which made her a valuable asset to her industry. She was a member of many business related groups, most passionately Blue Goose, where she served as Most Loyal Gander (MLG) for both the Hartford and Bay State Ponds. Her work ethic combined with her outgoing personality and selfless nature made her a natural at fundraising, which she did for so many families and organizations all over the country. Lisa loved music, especially Bruce Springsteen and live music. She also loved cooking, the ocean, and "long lunches." Above all, she valued her family and friends, her cats, and her husband, who she loved and took care of for 17 years.

Lisa was the loving wife of Bill Mullen. She is survived by her sister Diane Crosley and her partner Peter Brotman; sister Kathy and her husband Tom Scannell; sister Michele and her husband John Hartnett. She leaves behind her step-daughters, Kate and Jessica Mullen, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
