Lisa Marie Grosso

January 1, 1968 — February 7, 2026

Levittown

Lisa Grosso arrived with the New Year itself, entering the world at 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 1968. From her very first moments, she carried the promise of new beginnings—a gentle spirit whose smile would go on to brighten countless lives.

Lisa had an extraordinary gift for making people feel welcome. She loved inviting everyone she met home for dinner, always adding with a smile, “Ask my mom to be sure it’s okay.” Many people happily took her up on that invitation. She cherished time spent with friends, especially hosting pool parties for her friends from Delta Community Center—events they eagerly looked forward to year after year.

Over the years, Lisa formed deep and meaningful friendships with her caregivers, enjoying trips to the shore, outings, and special events together. She loved visiting family—especially her aunts, uncles, and cousins—and was truly the life of the party at family gatherings. Lisa adored her books and picture albums and was always ready to pose for a photo to add to her treasured collection.

Though her health presented many challenges throughout her life, Lisa showed remarkable resilience and always found a way to bounce back. She made friends easily, especially among her neighbors, with a special place in her heart for Sue and Ed, who were always there for her—especially on her birthday.

For the past six years, Lisa was lovingly supported by her caregivers through Hart Home Care. Amanda, Ashley, and Vickey became like family, and she also maintained close friendships with former caregivers, especially Mel and Victoria. Lisa was deeply grateful for her dedicated doctors, Dr. Amy Harvey O’Keeffe and Dr. Ronnie Antelo.

Lisa enjoyed many happy years with Handicapped Crusaders, where Anne, Dot, Jeff, and Suzanne worked tirelessly to make every gathering special, complete with delicious home-cooked meals that everyone enjoyed.

Lisa had a special power: she brought out the very best in the people around her. She shared her love freely with everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her devoted parents, John and Kathleen (Ryan) Grosso, who loved their little angel deeply; her brother John and his wife Melinda; her nephew Hayden; her niece Gabriella; many cousins and dear friends; and her faithful dog, Cody.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her nurse, Joanna, from Chandler Hall Hospice, whose constant support over the past year and a half meant so much. Thanks are also extended to her caseworkers at Penndel Mental Health, Delta Community Supports, and to her advocate, Karen Crawford.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday February 16, 2026 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, PA 19054, 9:00 AM followed by her funeral mass 10:00 AM. Interment private.
