Mabel Hare (nee Ison) passed away July 30, 2022 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hare. She was survived and loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and 99 years of wonderful family, friends, and pets. She was proudly born and raised in Kentucky before serving during the war as a Rosie the Riveter. From there she went on to build generations of family, lots of happy memories and a life lived like she never grew old. Her words, wisdom, stories, humor and memory will live on through all the people who loved her so much. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday August 3, 2022 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 9:00-9:45 AM followed by her Service at 10:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the ASPCA , PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 would be appreciated.
