Mackey passed away Oct. 1, 2015 peacefully at home. Beloved husband of the late Mary J., devoted father to his sons Frank A. (BethAnn), Robert M. (Linda) and the late Edward J. Also survived by his grandchildren, Kristyn Murphy (Sean), Nicholas and Michael, as well as 4 great grandchildren. Mackey served his country with honor in WWII, earning the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday 6 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave (so. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Service 8 PM. Interment private.
