Madeline Gregory (nee Dwyer) of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late William Gregory, Jr. and a devoted mother to Rose Dethloff (Norm), Michael Gregory (Ania), and Karen-Lyn Gregory (Michael). Madeline was a cherished grandmom to Brian (Lauren), Eric (Kylie), Sophia, Marcus, Alia, and Isabella, and a loving great grandmom to Shane, Kyle, Nolan, Henry, Luke, and Molly. She is also survived by her sister Janna Allison (Sam) and her nieces and nephews.

Her professional life was marked by dedicated service, including her work with Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity and a committed role at Spiegel. Beyond her career, Madeline found joy in creating art, working with ceramics, and immersing herself in the world of books.

Madeline's selflessness was most profoundly demonstrated in her work with foster children through Catholic Charities and her volunteering efforts with the Holmesburg Civic Association. Her love for animals was a testament to her caring spirit, extending kindness to all creatures great and small.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
