Mae Minnie Hemphill "Mom Mom Mae" aka "the last Mohican" passed away April 6, 2021 at the age of 92. Mae was a former "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII and retired as an assembler for Mitchells of Philadelphia. Mae loved to travel, shop, play bingo, and enjoyed the beach. Wife of the late Albert Hemphill II. Loving mother of Albert F. Hemphill III, and the late one and only daughter Dianna Hemphill. Mom Mom Mae of Fawn, Shayne, Joseph, Damon, Lisa, Jason, Stepheny, Aaron, David and Ein; also survived by many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving companion Cocoa. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday April 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1514 Woodbourne Rd. Levittown, PA 19057 followed by her Service at 2:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Woman's Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020 would be appreciated.
