Manning H. Mosley III passed away June 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Manning attended and graduated from Bartrum High School and continued his academic training at Temple University, receiving a B.S. and Master's degree in Education, and Post Graduate studies in Environmental Planning and Studies at Drexel University. Manning's professional Experience included a number of government positions and agencies. He started with the Philadelphia Dept of Recreation as a Supervisor and later was appointed to the Pennsylvania Dept of Community Bureau of Recreation and Conservation as a Regional Supervisor. His talent was recognized and he was appointed the Branch Officer for the Interior Department of the National Park Service, as Chief of the Interior Department, Division of Land Use Policy for the National Capitol Region in Washington D.C. Manning retired from government service to start his own business, "The Retirement Workshop LLC" providing financial, Tax and retirement planning and educational programs to public service employees. Beloved son of the late Manning H. Mosley Jr. and Emily Mosley and a brother who preceded him in death John H. Mosley. He is survived by cousins, Stephen R. Cox, Verna D. Cox and Agnes Braxton.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd. Phila., PA 19154 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
