"REVISED WITH BURIAL INFO"
Margaret L. Mercurio; "Peg", (nee Neville), born 11 March 1941 in Delaware County, Pa. Daughter of the late Thomas Neville and Kathryn Stevenson Brown and brother Thomas. Survived by the loves of her life, her husband John, son John and wife Jacqueline, brother-in-law Thomas (Rita) and many nieces, grand nieces and nephews.
She lived with quiet strength and a generous heart. She made those around her feel seen and cared for, often in the smallest, most meaningful ways. Her absence leaves an ache, but her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Peg stopped working when her son, John, was born and she stayed at home with her son until she was too old to be his playmate. In later years she was a pharmaceutical sales rep, and her last job was working at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia in the finance department. Moved to Florida in May of 1997 where she found a little piece of paradise.
A lifelong hobby, family genealogy. She contacted many family members in her search and gained many new friends. She was an active member in several local genealogy societies in the area and often did work for other societies where her research took her.
Peg became very active in the community volunteering in many areas as she did throughout her life. She was an active volunteer at Ormond Beach Library and a member of the Friends of the Library.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Please arrive at the cemetery no later than 1:15 P.M. if you are attending the service.
