Born in Philadelphia on July 10, 1931 to James and Marie McDevitt. Sister to the late Mary McAndrew and James McDevitt. She was 82 years old. Wife of the late John A. Dorety. Mother of Michael F., John G., and Susan Marie (Dorety) Crum. Grandmother to John (Jake) Crum, Marie Dorety, Emily Crum and John (Jack)Dorety, and Erin Dorety.
Marty was active as president of the Women's Council at Good Shepherd Parish in Camp Hill, Pa, the Boy Scouts, United Cerebral Palsy, Bucks County Senior Games, Bucks County Special Olympics, and Council Rock Sage Program. She was a dedicated care giver, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Marty loved to travel and learning through the Elder Hostile tours.
Visitation on Monday 9:30-10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. John Neuman Nursing Home, 10400 Roosevelt Blvd. Phila. PA, 19116. In lieu of flowers family prefers donations to St. John Neuman Nursing Home.
