Marielena McAnany, age 44, of Philadelphia, PA, sadly passed away on December 12, 2020 after losing her longtime battle with addiction. She was predeceased by her loving mother Dulcemaria Castellon, and she left behind her young son James Coyle, sister Melissa, father Michael, step-mother (former) MaryAnn Edwards, step-father Edward Manzano, half-sisters Christina and Bobbi, and other family and friends who will miss her.

She was called Marie by most, but close family called her "Neng". She will be missed for her sense of humor and concern for others. She was a bright woman and a great writer. She loved music and animals. She was fun and funny and she left us way too soon.

Never forget that your mistakes do not define who you are. If you are struggling with anything, keep fighting, there are people out there who love you.
