Obituary

In Loving Memory of Marvin Strauser Sr, who passed suddenly on  March 8 th , 2021.

A longtime resident of Fishtown, beloved husband of Honore (Santore).  Loving father of Patricia Hart Bersin (Ed), Joseph Santore, Margaret and Marvin, Jr.  Devoted grandfather of Edward and Erin Bersin.  Brother to Rosemary, Rhoda, Naomi, and Gary.  Uncle Marv to many nieces and nephews.

Marvin lit up the room wherever he went. He was constantly teasing and joking around with almost everyone. Marvin was proud to be an American; was proudly part of the Centurions, MC., and loved to ride his motorcycle.  Marvin wore many hats; motorcyclist, fisherman, hunter, "the window and door guy". But to us, he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and most of all friend.  He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. Marvin Strauser will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The world was a better place due to Marvin being in it.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Monday morning, 9-11 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E. Columbia Ave., Phila., PA 19125.  Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
