IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary
Delellis
April 20, 1927 – November 3, 2020
Mary DeLellis, 93 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her son's home in Avalon, New Jersey. Mary was born on April 20, 1927 to the late Stephan and Llamba (Mertzani) Siniari. Mary was dedicated to her family; they were her life. Her happiest moments were spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the Jersey Shore and was often referred to as the "Pied Piper" as she led a fleet of children to the beach. Words and a few lines could never express or describe the beautiful soul that was Mary. She was a wonderful and kind person. She always was smiling and had a unique way of making those around her feel special. Mary loved to laugh and had the best personality! She was truly the "Life of the Party". She was an expert seamstress and sewed for many people. You could always find Mary in the kitchen, baking and cooking. She was famous for her meatball sandwiches which she loved to share on Christmas Eve with family and friends. She was also noted for her Albanian Kurabie cookies which were shared locally and shipped to many around the country. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Thomas C. DeLellis. She is the beloved Mother of George DeLellis (Vicki), Karen Eisenhart (Larry), Thomas M. DeLellis (Maryann), Mark DeLellis (Marge), Donna Werner (Bob), and the late Mary Ann Ingram (the late Ron). Mary is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. 19114 on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 8:30 am to 10:15 am. With a service to follow at 10:30 am.
