Mary Ann Fauerbach, "Mare," passed away suddenly on April 28, 2024, at the age of 56.  She was the beloved daughter of Helen and the late John, the Loving Goddaughter of Mary Ann Hornberger, and the dear cousin of Dan, Wendy, Louis, Flossie, and Terry. She is also survived by the Laverty Family, her Godson David Mortimer Jr. (AKA the Golden Child), her fur babies Tara and Hobbes, and many other family and friends.

Mare has been a registered nurse for 36 years after graduating with her nursing diploma from Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia. She spent many nights working in critical care, including intensive care units and post-operative cardiothoracic and vascular surgery units. In September of 2001, she transitioned to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia. Her mentor and manager, Nancy Soulsby, RN, was integral in Mare's nursing career. In 2018, Mare graduated with her BSN from Chamberlain University with President's Honors and an invitation to Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society.

Mare loved the Eagles and was a faithful fan each weekend and the other 365 days of the year. She enjoyed crafts, Calvin & Hobbes cartoons, and, of course, Bruce Springsteen.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, May 2, 2024, 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Service 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery. Please wear your best Eagles attire! Fly Mare, fly…..
