Mary (Malfara) Horvath of Philadelphia, PA, was taken from our lives too soon on February 21, 2025, at the age of 70.

Mary was a proud graduate of Hallahan High School in Philadelphia, PA. Soon after graduation, she began her career in accounting, where she found great joy and fulfillment in her work. She dedicated her time to her job, her husband, and her family, especially her grandchildren, right up until the last few days of her life.

Among Mary's many passions were her love for friends and family, spending time at the campground, and celebrating holidays. She enjoyed decorating for all holidays, both at the campground and at home. Mary had a deep affection for flowers, and she cherished making memories and playing games with her grandchildren. Her larger-than-life personality was matched only by her immense love for her family and friends. Mary will be eternally missed.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Rick Horvath; her beloved children, Michael, Jeff (Dawn), and Tina (Steve) Tygh; her stepdaughter, Michelle (Roy) Harris; her grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Brandon, Krizzma, Kaila, Roy, Amber, and Chase; and her great-grandchild, Camden. She also leaves behind her dear brothers, James and John Malfara, and her sister, Victoria (Thomas) Hunt.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life and viewing at Burns Funeral Home on Thursday February 27, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Katherine of Siena Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will be privately held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
