Mary C. Mahan (nee Kirk), age 88, of Philadelphia, died peacefully on November 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Jim, and their son Jimmy. She is the devoted mother of Patrice McIlhenny (Matt), Dan (Jennifer), Theresa Kubler (Mike), Lizanne Markus (John), and Eileen Veit (George). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; Matthew, Jessica, Kimberly, Ryan, Michael, Stephen, James Thomas "JT", Meredith, Devon, Shane, Corrine, Brian, Brendan, Dylan and her 3 great grandchildren, Kira, Ryan and Mason. Dear sister of Sr. Francis Patrice SSJ, and Peg Maguire. Mary is predeceased by her parents Francis and Liz Kirk and her brothers Jack and Frank. A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 10:00-10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to ALDConnect.org and/or St. Joseph Villa , 110 W. Wissahickon Ave. Flourtown, PA 19031 would be appreciated.
