Mary  E. Rogozinski passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

She was the loving mom of Andrea DeGaetano (Giuseppe), cherished Mom-Mom to six amazing grandchildren who she loved dearly and gave her 15 great grandchildren and counting. Mary was the dear sister of Joan Connelly (James) and beloved aunt to her two nieces.

Mary was proud to serve as a Philadelphia Police Officer and was among the first women to join the force, a distinction she carried with honor throughout her life. A devoted dog lover, she once bred and cared for show dogs with great dedication. In her younger years, when she was affectionately known as Mary Beth, she treasured time at the boardwalk—whether burying the kids in the sand or delighting in winning large stuffed animals to surprise her daughter Andrea, filling her room with joy and laughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, followed by her Funeral Service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Beth's memory may be made to the PSPCA of Pennsylvania.
