Matthew P. Ketner died suddenly on May 2, 2015 at the age of 20.
He was the loving son of David and the late Loretta; and dear brother of Christopher and Kaison. Matt is survived by his birth mother, Kiersten Han. He is also survived by his uncle James Ketner (Elaine), aunt Paula Grochowski (Robert), aunt Donna McLeod (the late Kevin), aunt Joan McCloskey (the late Dennis), uncle John McEntee (Brenda), and many cousins and friends.
Matthew had a zest for life with a beautiful smile and outgoing personality. Matt identified his career of cooking at an early age. He attended the Restaurant School of Walnut Hill College and was to graduate in the summer of 2015. Matt worked at the Yardley Inn Restaurant and graduated from Bucks County Technical High School.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. (south of Grant Ave.) and at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Calvary Chapel, 13500 Philmont Ave. Philadelphia, Pa. 19116, followed by his service 11 a.m. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
