Melanie Donnelly

Melanie Donnelly passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026, at the age of 57, surrounded by the love of her family.

Beloved wife of 30 years to Paul Schnell. Devoted mother of Jessica Schnell and her fiancé Mark Gilmore, who was truly the center of her world. Dear sister of Judi Aglira and Robert Brown, and loving aunt of Lauren Aglira.

Melanie had a love for life and especially cherished the time spent with her family. Her daughter was her greatest joy, and she adored her beloved dogs. She enjoyed traveling with her family and being a true foodie at heart. Melanie loved a winning trip to the casino and her trips to Las Vegas with her husband, creating many special memories along the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, November 10, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:30–11:00 AM, followed by Words of Remembrance at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Melanie's memory to the Women's Animal Shelter, 3839 Richlieu Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020 would be appreciated.
