Michael T. Bobrek passed away suddenly on June 20, 2019 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of 47 years to Carol (nee Backley). Loving father of Michael (Rebecca), Jeffrey (Tricia), and Keith (Amanda). Dear Pop Pop of Gavin, Brielle, Hunter, Colin, Faith, Lillian, and Ava. Brother of John Bobrek, Frank Bobrek (Maureen), and brother-in-law of Michael Backley, and Steven Backley (Darlene). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Michael retired from Verizon as a lineman after 38 years. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday 9:00 AM at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
