Suddenly, September 8, 2017.  Son of the late Joseph and Joann Dowling.  Loving brother of Joann Kling (Ron), Joseph Dowling (Deborah), Kelly Hillman (Michael), and the late Marie Davis and Kevin Dowling.  Dear step Dad of Christine, Kevin, and Jessica Dowling; also survived by 6 grandchildren, his best friend Christine Michael, and many nieces and nephews; father of Michael.  Michael will also be missed by his four legged friend Chubbs.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday Eve. 7 to 9 PM and also Wednesday 8:30 to 9:15 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 1428 E. Columbia Ave., Phila., followed by his Funeral Mass 10 AM Nativity BVM Church.  Interment is Private.
