Michael J. Leonard, age 62, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, surrounded by his family.

The beloved son of Anne and the late James Leonard, Mike was a devoted husband to Lynn (née O'Neill) for 30 years, a proud and loving father to Michael (Katie), Sarah Jones (Mike), Danny (Julianne), and Colleen (Tyler Ford), and the adoring Pop Pop to his treasured grandchildren: Maggie, Claire, Michael, Grace, James, Luca, and Emilia. He was also a loyal brother to Jim, Kevin, and Maureen, and a friend to many.

Humble, funny, and kind, Mike had a rare gift for making everyone feel at ease.

A proud graduate of Father Judge High School, Mike built a successful 30-year career in the medical device industry, where he earned the respect of colleagues for his integrity, work ethic, and leadership.

A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Mike never missed a game and loved cheering on his teams. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family — especially at his favorite place, Sea Isle City, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114 and again on Monday, July 7, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
