Suddenly June 28, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Mary Jane (nee Hall), loving brother of Rev. James McVeigh, Joseph McVeigh (Mary), Mary V. McVeigh, Kathy Casey, and the late Margaret McVeigh; survived by many nieces and nephews. Mike was an Army Veteran of Vietnam, a member of the AOH 51, and a retired employee of the City of Philadelphia Sheriff's Department. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday 9 to 11:15 AM, St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM.
