Michael G. "Mickie" passed away July 22, 2020, at the age of 97.  Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee McDougall).  Devoted father of Janice Tarasiewicz (Bill), Michael (Marguerite), and Kathleen McDade (Bob).  Loving Pop Pop of Colleen, Jack, Michael III, Joseph, Patrick, Jason, Ian, and Delia and 14 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Joseph (the late Ann).  Michael was an Army Veteran of World War II.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, July 29, 2020 9:00 AM, Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM.  Interment will be held Monday, August 3, 2020, 9:30 AM Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA.  Funeral procession will form and leave Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, at 8:30 AM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Calvary Church in his memory would be appreciated.
