Mycol R. Dennis, age 33, passed away suddenly on October 5, 2025.

He was the beloved son of Steven Dennis and the late Shanon Garrow (the late John), and the cherished grandson of Gordon and Virginia Kurtz, Rick Wolfsteller (Diane) and Merrilyn Apicelli (Steve). He is survived by his son, Mycol J. Dennis. Mycol was a dear brother to Brandon Weyer (Kate), Becky Bergey (Mike), Daniel Dennis, and Lauren Dennis, and a loving uncle to Henry and Maeve. He is also survived by his uncle Chris Dennis.

A graduate of Father Judge High School, Class of 2010, Mycol went on to dedicate over 15 years of service to the United States Postal Service. Prior to his career with the USPS, he worked as a cook in several establishments, including the Four Seasons and the FOP Lodge 5, where he honed his love of cooking.

Mycol enjoyed spending time on the water—boating and jet skiing were among his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed lighting up the sky with fireworks and had a love for his Mustang.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by his memorial service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held privately.
