Nancy Catherine Vesey passed suddenly on January 15, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late M. Thomas and Mary J. (nee Meehan), loving sister of Margaret Vesey McShane (Daniel), Matthew (Katherine), Brian (Reilly), and the late Michael T. (Kelly), Mary Jane, and Thomas (Jennifer). Dear Aunt of Shannon, Thomas, Caitlyn, Madalyn, Lauren, Hannah, Emma, Christopher, Michael, Daniel, Jack, Catherine, Colin, Caroline, Charlie, Julia, and Elizabeth.

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area alongside her six siblings, Nancy attended Widener University, where she received a B.S. in Nursing. She commenced her nursing career at Thomas Jefferson University, eventually finding her way to becoming an integral member of the Kidney Transplant Team. However, this was not enough for Nancy; she knew she could do bigger things to shape the Healthcare environment for both patients and providers. She hung up her nurse's uniform and enrolled at Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, where she earned an MHA, specializing in Healthcare Strategy and Administration. With her MHA degree in hand, she embarked on the next chapter of her career at Price Waterhouse Cooper, ultimately serving as a Director in the Healthcare Consulting Division. In the later part of her career journey, she returned to where it all began, serving as a Healthcare Executive at Thomas Jefferson University.

Nancy loved many things - but her time in Longport, NJ, and skiing out West were her most treasured times. These moments were spent with family and friends, relishing the simple things in life, such as walks on the beach, a Miller Lite, a slice of pizza, or dinner at a favorite restaurant. A fast run down one of the slopes in Aspen always topped her list of activities. Nancy touched many lives over her years and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
