Obituary

Nicholas "Nick" Borman passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of over 43 years to Elizabeth (nee Hepworth). Loving dad to Tina Borman (Patrick). Cherished Pop to the late Kayla. Dear brother to Darren Borman (Donna), Donna Borman, the late Daniel Borman, and David Borman. Nick is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Nick was a lifelong resident of Fishtown. He began his career working at the old St. Mary's Hospital on Palmer and Frankford Avenue, where his dedication and skill in engineering quickly became evident. His career would go on to take him to Northeastern Hospital, Episcopal Hospital, and finally to St. Agnes Hospital/Constitution Health in South Philadelphia.

Nick was one of the hardest working, most trustworthy and reliable guy you could ever meet. He would do anything for anyone — truly a genuine, good guy.  He left an imprint in the life of everyone he met. His bond with his brother Darren was something special; they were not only brothers but best friends through and through, rarely a day passing without talking or seeing each other. Nick will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially by those in "the Garage." His trademark sayings, "Happy Hump Day!" and "Let's get this party started!" will be fondly remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home (1428 E. Columbia Ave., Philadelphia PA 19125) from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, followed by his Funeral Service.
