Nora E. Booth

October 17, 1946 — June 2, 2026

Nora E. Booth (née Germain) passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026.

Nora was the beloved wife of the late Michael Booth. She was the dear sister-in-law of Daniel Booth (Linda), Sally Musto, and Joellen Pepper (Jeff), and was predeceased by Patrick Booth, Dennis Booth (Sherry), Peter Booth and her loving niece, Melissa. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Nora was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed being at the beach with her friends. She built a remarkably successful career at Jeanes Hospital, where her dedication and work ethic set her apart. Starting from the ground up, Nora steadily paved her own path through a variety of roles, earning not only professional respect but also forming lasting friendships with many of her colleagues. Nora had a lifelong love of animals, especially her cherished cats, devoting countless hours volunteering at animal shelters, helping care for and advocate for animals in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Monday, July 13, 2026, 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
