Nora C. Gallagher (nee Logan), "G.G.," age 65, of Philadelphia, PA, died unexpectedly on January 4, 2023. She was surrounded by her family when she went home to God.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, James Gallagher; her children, Rachel Gallagher (Justin), Maeve Gallagher-Nowlan (Daniel), and Kevin Gallagher; her darling grandchildren, Liam, Jake, Rylee, Mannix, Zack, Addy, Connor, and Sawyer; her dear sister, Mary Pat Smith, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her sweet dog, BeBe.

Nora was born on September 15, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA to her loving mother, Anna T. Logan. She was a graduate of Hallahan High School and later received a degree in Radiology at Lincoln Technical Institute. She worked in the Radiology Department at Frankford Hospital (Jefferson) for 43 years. While there, she established many lasting friendships with her caring co-workers. She really loved her co-workers.

Nora found joy in reading, crafting, board games, walking, gardening, singing, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. During her short retirement, she made numerous trips to Massachusetts to be with her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished the most. Nora was a goofy grandmom with a witty sense of humor. She was a devoted mom, a giver and a loyal friend. She was adored by so many for her unique personality and will be missed terribly.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also Thursday January 12, 2023, from 9:15 AM to 10:15 am followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment private.
