Patricia M. Zadjeika

Patricia M. Zadjeika (née LaGrossa) passed away on October 18, 2026. Beloved wife of George. Loving mother to Chris Swingle. Cherished aunt to Tricia McGovern (Keith), Fred Radtke, Jane Jolly (George), Jim McGovern (Megan), and Sherry Chavarria (Armando). Dear sister to Jane and her twin sister, Phyllis. Pat was also preceded in death by her brothers Clem, Thomas and is survived by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.

Although Pat did not have biological grandchildren, she embraced the role of grandmother with all her heart. She deeply loved and cherished her great-nieces and great-nephews, especially Keith and Hayden, who brought her the immeasurable joy of being a grandmother. They held a very special place in her heart and filled her life with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Pat was born and raised in North Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School, Class of 1966. She dedicated over 20 years of her professional life to Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW).

Pat truly enjoyed life and all the wonderful moments it had to offer. She loved spending time boating on the Chesapeake Bay, dancing, tending to her garden, and cheering on her beloved Philadelphia Phillies. She also had a special fondness for the Mummers and enjoyed the excitement of visiting the casino and playing her favorite slot machines. Pat especially loved watching beautiful sunsets and appreciating life's simple pleasures.

Above all, Pat will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends and the many wonderful memories she leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to Pat's viewing on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114), followed by her Funeral Service. Interment private.
