Obituary

Patrick J. White, Sr. passed away April 12, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved husband to the late Ellen (nee Kernan). Loving father to Theresa White, Patrick Jr., and Kathleen Hennessy. Cherished grandpop to Randall McGinnis (Heather), Regina Milstein (Chad), great grandpop to Brette (Dave) Konopka, Cassidy Milstein, Chad Milstein Jr. and Ronan McGinnis, great great grandpop to Sean and Kellen Konopka. Patrick was born to the later James and Ellen (nee Millar). Predeceased by his brother and sisters, Seamus, Mary, Elizabeth, John, Thomas (the late Edna), Vincent, Anne and Lawrence, survived by his remaining brothers and sisters, Margaret (the late James) Knox, Francis (the late Marie), Eileen (James) McKeown, Daniel ( the late Laureen) and Sister Kathleen White, IHM. He also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pat is also survived by his wonderful and caring friends Jim and Linda Fagan. Pat was a proud graduate of North Catholic High School, Class of 1947. He was a former employee of the Frankford Aresnal. He was former President and soccer coach of the Torresdale Boys Club for many years. He was inducted into the Philadelphia Old Timers' Soccer Association Hall of Fame. He was lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan and Notre Dame fan. He loved to travel, especially to Ireland. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday April 22, 2021 at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Phila PA 19114) from 6PM-8PM and Friday 8:30AM-9:30AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Katherine of Siena Church (9700 Frankford Ave., Phila Pa 19114) at 10AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be sent to Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355.
