Paul J. Ellis, son of the late Leslie and Pearl Ellis, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on May 9, 2021. Paul served in Vietnam as a Navy Corpsman and was a retired Philadelphia Firefighter of 24 years. Husband of the late Patricia A. (nee Millman) Ellis. Loving father of Lisa Rommel (Chris) and the late Paul A. Ellis. Pop-Pop to Chase and the late Christopher and Caitlyn. Stepfather to Annie Hopkins (Rob). Pop to Miranda, Gabby, Sam, Maggie, Robyn and the late Amanda. Great Pop to Lily and Sophie. He is also survived by one brother Robert Ellis (Pat).

Relatives, friends and members of Local 22 are invited to his viewing on Saturday May 15, 9 AM to 10:45 AM at the Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Ave, Phila, PA 19114 followed by his funeral service at 11 AM. Interment is at Resurrection cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Hero Scholarship Fund,1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 933, Phila, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
