Peggyann Ferro

Peggyann “Peg/Margaret” Ferro (née Wade) passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family. 

Peg was the beloved wife of the late Eugene “Gene” Ferro and devoted mother of Lisa Schaefer (Greg), Bernadette Reiling (John), and Gene Ferro (Kim). She was the cherished Grandmother of Amber Rose, Allison Leigh, John William, Tristan Gene, Sophie Elyse, Evan Russell, and Chloe Ann, and was joyfully awaiting the arrival of her great-grandson, Rhys. She is survived by her dear sisters Agnes Dombrowski (the late Vincent) and Elizabeth Weber (the late Lenny), sister-in-law Rita Wade (the late William Wade) and the late Rosemarie Rzepela, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

The matriarch of her family, Peggyann was truly the heart and soul of those she loved. Her unwavering strength, kindness, and devotion guided her family through every chapter of life, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue for generations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136 at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
