Peter J. Mastropietro

Peter J. Mastropietro, age 71, passed away at his home after a battle with glioblastoma on September 17, 2026. Pete was a retired Logistics Specialist for Eastern America and later Lockheed Martin, where he met many lifelong friends. He spent his childhood in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, where he loved to play basketball and baseball. He was a lifelong fan of all Philadelphia sports (most of the time) and also loved coaching his son’s sports for many years. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and loved cooking, especially spaghetti and crabs, which was a crowd favorite for many special gatherings. He loved to travel to the Jersey Shore, where he met his wife, and the mountains with family and friends over the years. He was known for being the first one awake in the morning, cooking omelets for everyone as they woke up. In later years, he and his wife did a lot of traveling all over the States and in Europe with dear friends.

Pete was the beloved husband of Kathleen Mastropietro (née Lesher). Loving father of Deanna Parkton (Jonathan) and Peter Joseph Mastropietro. Proud grandfather of Will, Luke and Finn. Dear brother of Joe Mastropietro (Lynn), Mark Mastropietro (Maureen) and the late Ronnie Mastropietro. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Dolores Mastropietro; as well as his godson Ryan Lesher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
