Obituary

Peter J. Maxwell, Sr., a former resident of Kensington, retired railroad employee for over 40 years, and a former soccer coach for many years with multiple clubs, most commonly known for his coaching with the Kensington Ramblers, passed away December 20, 2020 at the age of 88.

Husband of the late Bertha J. (Nee Flynn) "Bert", loving father of Peter J. Maxwell, Jr. (Sharon), Coleen Cantz, James Maxwell (Marion), Diane Nelson and Michele Davis (Hugh). Beloved Pop to Peter, III (April), Ryan, Shannan (Troy), Michael, Jr. (Dawn), Timothy, Sr., Anthony, Sr. (Ashley), Lauren (Pete), Christopher, George, Jr. (Jamie), Daniel, Sr. (Dana), Buddy, Rhiannon, Morgan, Sian, Gareth. Pop Pop of Timothy, Jr., Allison, Riley, Steven, Liam, Jordan, Michael, III, Kylee, Anthony, Jr., Jayden, Aubree, Brynleigh, McKenzie, Madison, George, III, Alyssa, Daniel, Jr., Carter, Skylar, and Sophia. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Brown and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Life Celebration Mass on Saturday July 17th, 10:30 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19136, .
