Peter Ralph Montini passed away on October 3, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Helen Montini (Myers). Loving father of Helene Montini, Peter Montini (Falissa), and Paul Montini (Rebecca). Dear Pop "Nonno" to Brian (Magda), Gia (Mike), Chris, Jennifer, and Olivia. Great grandpop of Sophia, Raelyn, and Michael. Brother of Antoinette (Hugh), and the late Marie Guarrieri (Frank), the late Caroline DelCasale (Nick), and the late Anna Pontarelli (Tony). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.

Peter was a student of the first graduating class of Father Judge High School in 1957; a proud US Navy Submarine Veteran serving on the USS Croaker SSK 246, a carpenter in the Local Union 1073 and a member of the Millwright 1906. Peter enjoyed racing his 1955 Red Chevy Bel Air Convertible, playing horseshoes at the Eddington Swim Club, golfing at Torresdale Frankford Country Club but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM followed by his Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, USS Croaker Fund, One Naval Park Cove, Buffalo, NY 14202 would be appreciated.
