Mr. Toner passed away peacefully at home July 25, 2018.  Beloved husband of 60 years to Isabella (nee Verbilla).  Loving father of Theresa Nahill (Robert).  Pop-Pop of Derrick, Colin, and Brendan Nahill, and he loved all of them very much.  Also survived by in-laws Elizabeth Decker, Barbara Turchi, Kathleen Treude, Edward Verbilla, and the late Anne Marie McCarty; and many loving nieces and nephews.   A proud graduate of Roman Catholic High School.  He served in the U.S. Army and Philadelphia Police-Highway Patrol.  He is also a retired Lineman from Verizon.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday morning, 8:30-9:45 A.M. at St. Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St., Phila., PA 19136.  Funeral Mass 10 A.M.   Interment Resurrection Cem.  In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations in his memory to Holy Redeemer Palliative Care and Hospice, 12265 Townsend Rd., Suite 400, Phila., PA 19154.  A special thanks to all the nurses from Aria Care Infusion Center.
