At the age of 65. A US Navy Veteran and retired US Postal Service truck mechanic. He is the beloved husband of 35 years to Melanie (nee Klein). Loving father of Kristin and Dana Gavaghan. Pop to Lacey, Carter, and Brett. Devoted son of Miriam (nee Bonner) and the late John J. Gavaghan. Brother of the late John Gavaghan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
