Raphael S. Tancredi, Sr., age 87, passed away on October 12, 2023. Raphael was a retired pharmacist.  He owned Tancredi Pharmacy, a well known neighborhood pharmacy located in the Frankford section of Philadelphia (Frankford & Bridge).  Tancredi Pharmacies were also located in Center City and the Northeast.
Raphael was the loving husband of 59 years to the late Rita.  Beloved father of Raphael, Jr. (Annette), Samuel J. (Mario), James V., and the late Michael S., Steven R., and Chris M.  Grandfather of Ashley (Ian), Derek (Jacquelyn), Dustin (Carly), Christine (Michael), Bree Ann (Robert), Melissa (Brian) and Elaina (Russell).  Also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and siblings Richard (Lucille), Mary Ann (Donald), and the late Pasquale.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects Thursday morning, 9:30-10:15 A.M. at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.  Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
