Raymond W. Moore

Raymond W. Moore passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, just one day shy of his 95th birthday. He was the beloved husband of the late Jane (nee Norris), and a devoted father to Raymond (Denise), George (Barbara), and the late Jane Flynn (Joe). Raymond was a cherished grandpop to Shannan Verello (Nick), Raymond (Cecilia), Jeff (Nelly), Kristina, Jennifer, and the late George, Jr. He was also a great-grandpop to Ella, Nicholas, Mel, D.J., Ava, Ray, and Avery. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Raymond was a passionate coin collector and enjoyed collecting cards and Hess trucks. A true family man at heart, Ray's love for his family was evident in everything he did. He had a deep affection for driving tractor trailers and often found joy in attending tractor rodeos, where he could indulge his passion for the open road and the machines he loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114), followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
Raymond will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
