Richard W. Bupp, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Bupp (nee D'Amore). A devoted father, Richard is survived by his children: Michele Bubel (Nicholas), Michael Bupp (Michelle), and Maryann Gordon (Raymond). He was a proud "Pop" to Stephanie, Justin, Raymond, Nicholas, and Zachary, and a cherished great grandpop to Ryan Richard, Mason and Madison. Richard was predeceased by his brothers Edward, David, and James, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A proud Marine veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War, Richard exemplified a sense of duty and service that carried through his life. He spent over 25 years as a truck driver for Local 107, a career that he approached with the same dedication and hard work. In his leisure time, Rich enjoyed bowling, a pastime that brought him joy and connection with friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, March 6 2025, at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. His viewing will take place at 10:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
