Passed away at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Born and raised in Philadelphia and resident of St. Mary county MD. Richard was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. Beloved husband of 52 years to Janice (nee Burkholder). Loving father of Richard Jr. (Christy),  Anthony "Tony" (Jenni), Chris (Tiffany), Janice Marvel (Brian). Pop Pop to Taylor, Cody, Cameron, Makayla, Jordon, Jonathan and the late Nicholas. He is also survived by one sister Virginia Joyce. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday April 20, 2018 10:00-10:45 AM at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Rd. (at Morrell Ave.) Philadelphia, PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment is Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Leonard Town Volunteer Rescue Department or the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD would be appreciated.
