Husband of Mary (nee Ludwig). Loving father of Edward and Robert Kandel, Rodney Bock, Randy Hammond, Mary Sautner (Jim), Richard Hammond, Jr. (Bridget), and the late Suzanne Hammond. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
