Richard L. Thompson

Richard L. Thompson, age 79, unexpectedly passed away on October 23, 2026.  He was a proud retiree from the Communications Division of the Philadelphia Police Department.  He was an avid boater and loved spending time at his home in Cape May, NJ.  Richard was a friend of Bill W. for 30 years.  Nothing was as important to him as the love for his wife and family.  

Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10:00-10:45 A.M. at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to American Parkinson Disease Association, would be appreciated by his family.
