Richard J. White, "RJ" age 80 passed away peacefully September 10, 2025.  Beloved husband of 56 years to Susan (nee Tiano), Rich was a devoted partner and best friend.  Son of the late Edward and Pauline White.   He was a loving brother to William White (the late Terri) and was preceded in death by his brothers Edward White (Kathleen), Lawrence White (the late Marianne), and his sister Jacqueline White (the late Ken). He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Joyce Osik (the late Robert) and by his many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many lifelong friends.

A proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Rich served his country with honor. He was a skilled and hardworking electrical contractor and owner of R.J. White Electric for over 48 years and was known for his expertise and reliability.  He was an avid reader, fisherman and hunter.  In his later years, he had a passion for scuba diving and became a certified instructor, sharing his love for the ocean.  When relaxing he enjoyed having a nice night watching tv with Susan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, October 1, 2025, 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Phila, followed by his Funeral Mass 9:30 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Phila.  Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326, American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134 in Rich's memory would be appreciated.
