Of Viera, Florida (originally Philadelphia, PA) died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on December 15, 2011. An extraordinary presence in her community and her church for her generous heart and kind spirit, Rita graced the world and those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her siblings, William Savidge, Mary Anne Harris, and Kathleen Hamby; by her niece and godchild, Valerie Hamby; and by her nephew and his family, Edward, Colleen, and Jake Hamby; and her friend of more than 50 years, Geri Casper. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday, 9-9:30 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (S. of Grant Ave.). Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church.
